I thought of that skit as well. Mad TV also did something similar if I recall.
That’s a good one. I find it interesting when I get e-mails from people wanting me to support this or that legislation of fair credit card practices. The real solution is for people to stop borrowing money for everything! We haven’t had a credit card for about 8 months now and have not missed it at all. I’m not saying everyone should never use credit again, but we as a society have become so incredibly irresponsible with it. The government is no solution to the problem, as Dave Ramsey says “that’s like asking a broke brother-in-law how to handle your money.”
